FeaturesWinPaste is a simple and easy to use clipboard utility for windows. It helps you store all the rich text and HTML data you cut or copy from various applications like text or email editors, programming tools, web browsers and office applications. The 'clips' you copy are available in WinPaste for easy retrieval and quick pasting into any of these applications. WinPaste does not save images, folders, files, icons or shortcuts although any bitmaps within the rich text or HTML data are available for pasting.
The basic idea behind WinPaste is to provide an extended "Paste" (Ctrl + V) functionality across all Windows applications. While Windows clipboard can store only a single item at a time, WinPaste can be configured to store up to 25 items for quick paste employing a user configurable hot key.

Copying and pasting data has never been easier and more powerful. Copy things using 'Ctrl + C' or through 'Edit→Copy' menu selection as you normally would in any of the number of desktop applications you use every day. WinPaste automatically caches all the different clips you copy to the clipboard from different applications.
When it's time for pasting data, instead of choosing 'Edit→Paste' menu option or doing a 'Ctrl + V' on your keyboard, click on WinPaste system tray icon or press the hotkey 'Windows Key + V' to bring up the WinPaste main window. Select the item you want to paste and click 'Ok' button (or simply press the ENTER key) to paste the selected clip into the foreground application. WinPaste saves its users many hours of copying, cutting and pasting, by preserving the data they need multiple times for easy pasting.

WinPaste is designed so as to be able to use your keyboard to navigate quickly through the clip items and then pasting them into your applications. In fact, you seldom need to operate the mouse when using WinPaste. The keyboard shortcuts save time and effort and help you stay productive and focused.
Any important clip item that you do not wish to lose and which will be needed on a regular basis for pasting into various applications, like your phone number or your address, can be stored in separate list called the 'Permanent' list. You may just drag and drop clip items from the default list into your 'Permanent' list. The older items in the default list are deleted as you copy items to the clipboard and when the number of items cached reaches a user specified limit. On the other hand, the clips in the 'Permanent' list are never deleted.
WinPaste has preview functionality for previewing the clip items captured in the default or the 'Permanent' list so as to be able to see what you wish to paste. For clips with text data, formatted or otherwise, a rich text dialog window is opened with the data that can be pasted by you. If the clip item was copied from a browser and hence if the type of the clipboard data is HTML, a browser preview window is displayed.
